The Challenge

When Belonging Feels Out of Reach

Teen girls with intellectual and developmental differences often face limited social opportunities — and as they move through their teen years, there are even fewer places to build healthy habits, try fun new things, and connect with peers and adults who genuinely accept and celebrate them just as they are.

This lack of belonging can be deeply isolating and harmful to their overall wellbeing. Every teen girl deserves a community, a social life, and the chance to experience the joys of adolescence.

We want every teen girl with intellectual and developmental differences in Massachusetts to have a community close to home where she is seen, valued, connected, and challenged—a community all her own!

A Community for Families Too

Just as important, Soulful Girls Club creates a supportive community for caregivers and families — a place where they no longer feel alone, but surrounded by people who truly understand their journey.

The Transformation

Where Belonging Is Guaranteed

Soulful Girls Club was created to meet these needs head-on. Each month, we offer teen girls with intellectual and developmental differences a safe, joyful, and predictable space where they can show up exactly as they are — and be celebrated for it.

Through fun themed activities, social connection, movement, and creative expression, the girls get to practice healthy habits, try new experiences, and build authentic friendships in a way that feels inclusive, natural, and empowering. Our trained mentors and staff model acceptance, encouragement, and compassion — helping every girl feel seen, valued, and supported.

Authentic friendships with accepting peers and mentors

Confidence through celebration, not correction

Healthy habits practiced in joyful, empowering ways

Community that extends to families and caregivers
