About the Role:
Do you have a passion for mentorship, creativity, and making a positive impact on the lives of teenage girls? The Soul Project is looking for heart-centered young adults to join our team as Soulful Girls Workshop Mentors. This paid role is an opportunity to lead bi-monthly workshops for girls in a nurturing, creative environment.

What You’ll Do
As a Soulful Girls Workshop Mentor, you will:

• Lead bi-monthly workshops with a focus on creativity, wellness, and empowerment.

• Collaborate with our teen volunteers to ensure workshops run smoothly.

• Help plan and execute workshop activities, including themes, lessons, and crafts.

• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.

• Arrive early to set up (15-30 minutes) and stay after for clean-up (15 minutes).

What We’re Looking For
Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Experience working with children or teens.

• Leadership experience, whether in school, work, or volunteer roles.

• A passion for creativity and empowering young girls.

• Strong communication, empathy, and high energy to create a fun, inclusive atmosphere.

Skills & Qualities:

• Creative: You enjoy planning fun and meaningful activities.

• Enthusiastic: You bring energy and positivity to every workshop.

• Empathetic: You are patient, understanding, and supportive.

How It Works
Commitment:

• Bi-monthly workshops, plus set-up and clean-up time.

• Each Mentor will lead two workshops per quarter.

Support and Training:
You’ll receive training and support from Christine McDonough, our Soulful Girls Program Coordinator, to ensure your success.

Teen Volunteers:
You’ll be supported by a team of teen volunteers during each workshop, providing you with additional help and mentorship opportunities.
